They Rigged the Country Against Us. The Working Class Has Had Enough
By Jackson Rubin, The Working Model
For decades, Americans have been sold a lie: that if you worked hard, followed the rules, and kept your head down, you could build a stable life and pass something better on to your children. Instead, millions watch as corporations ship jobs overseas, monopolies crush competition, Wall Street buys entire neighborhoods, and political elites enrich themselves while ordinary Americans drown in debt, rising prices, medical crises, and despair.
The American people are not stupid. They know exactly what happened.

A corrupt bipartisan political establishment sold the country out to monopolists, lobbyists, hedge funds, defense contractors, and billionaire donors. Republicans and Democrats alike became servants of an economic order that extracts wealth from working people and transfers it upward to an insulated ruling class. They distract Americans with endless culture wars while corporations cannibalize communities, crush family farms, buy our homes, jack up prescription prices, poison our politics, and turn basic necessities into luxuries.
I am tired of watching working Americans sacrificed so oligarchs can become even richer. I am tired of watching elites lecture struggling families about morality while they insider trade, cash corporate checks, and send other people’s children to die in endless wars that enrich defense contractors. I am tired of a political establishment that would rather divide ordinary people than confront the concentrated corporate power suffocating this country.
That is why I believe economic populism is the future of American politics.
People like Austin Ahlman and Dan Osborn resonate because they speak to the reality millions of Americans actually live. Plant closures. Eviction notices. Crushing medical debt. Crops failing. Corporate abuse. Communities abandoned by both parties while politicians collect donations from the very corporations destroying local economies. Their message is powerful because it is real. It is not manufactured by consultants in Washington. It is forged through suffering, struggle, and survival.
